You can make a donation In Honour of a loved one, a caregiver or someone else who you want to recognize.

We will send an acknowledgement card on your behalf to the recipient and the charitable receipt to you.

In Memory

Donations In Memory are wonderful ways to pay tribute to someone special. We will send an acknowledgement card on your behalf to the recipient and the charitable receipt to you.

Many families will choose to name us as a Charity of Choice at the funeral home In Memory of their loved one. This is a wonderful way to help care for others. We can provide postage paid envelopes or donations can be made online at www.myhospice.ca.

Loved ones will also receive a complete listing of all donations so they can see who has made a gift.

Donations made In Memory can be accumulated so that we can provide recognition once the amount reaches $5,000 or more.

Monthly Donations

Monthly giving is easy and convenient for you and cost effective for us.
It means less is spent on administration and more on caring for others. It reduces costs for postage, paper & printing plus staff time can be used more effectively.

You can set up your monthly donation online  $15, $18, $25 or any amount you choose.

  • Your monthly gifts come straight from your chosen bank account or credit card.
  • You will receive one consolidated tax receipt for all your monthly gifts made in the previous calendar year.
  • You can change or cancel your gift at any time.
  • Donations are processed on the 1st or 15th of each month.
  • Your monthly gifts will be put to work each and every day and can be directed to your areas of interest.
  • Your gifts, combined with those of all other monthly donors, will provide a valuable source of reliable income that helps us plan ahead early in the year.

Celebrate a Special Occasion

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special holiday than by making a gift to care for others.

We will send an acknowledgement card or email to the recipient and the charitable receipt to you.

Many people are also choosing a “Charity of Choice” in lieu of gifts and we would be honoured to be considered. We can easily set up a special page on our website where your friends and family can go and make their donations online.

Matching Gifts

Do you work for a company with a Matching Gift program?

Many corporations have Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities and will either match your donations to your favourite charity or they will contribute donations to match your volunteerism.  Ask your HR department for more information or if there is a form that can be filled out. This is an amazing way to increase your contribution.

Example:  Jane made a $500 donation to Margaret Bahen Hospice and remembered that her company has a matching gift program.

Jane submits her request and her employer sends Margaret Bahen Hospice an additional $500. This turns Claudia’s $500 donation into a $1,000 donation.

The donation from the company is what is called a matching gift, and it is a benefit that many corporations offer to their staff. Corporations may double, triple, or even quadruple charitable gifts on behalf of employees and/or retirees.
